The water crisis is a fundamental challenge to human survival. Other than oxygen, there is no substance as fundamental to human life as water. Unsafe drinking water is the world's leading cause of disease and death. 780,000,000 people today don't have access to clean drinking water and 2.5 billion people, including almost one billion children, live without basic sanitation.

"Every 20 seconds, a child dies from diseases associated with a lack of clean water and sanitation. That adds up to an unconscionable 1.5 million young lives cut short each year," stated Ban Ki-moon, Secretary-General of the United Nations.

Why Agua Azul?

These 780,000,000 people live in poverty and survive on $1.00 or less per day -- they are in critical need and do not have many options to improve their life. For this reason, we are launching a campaign in support of an award-winning organization, Blue Planet Network, who exponentially increases the impact of water programs for people around the world. Together, we present "Agua Azul," a campaign to help many impoverished people in Central America and India with life-saving water! This global campaign aims to bring safe drinking water to families in rural communities across Nicaragua, Honduras, and in India.

Together, We Can

Miss Mexico USA Michele Rivas 2013 and Carlitos Avilas, Professional Sports Narrator, have joined us as our official Spokespersons to launch Agua Azul.

With hundreds of thousands of involved citizens giving $1.00 each, we can transform lives and bring hope to so many underserved children, women and communities.
