Oak Giraudbit: Empties Piggy Bank for Safe Drinking Water

7 year old from Palo Alto, CA already making a difference!

Blue Planet Network is so grateful for Oak Giraubit! After reading our book, Blue Planet Run - The Race To Provide Safe Drinking Water To The World, with his grandmother, Oak thought it wasn't fair that we have so much, and others so little. He couldn't understand how people could exist without water.

So he brought the contents of his entire piggy bank - $90 - to his grandmother and told her he wanted to donate it to Blue Planet Network so that other people could get safe drinking water.

Blue Planet Network will make sure that Oak's donation helps at least three children, just like him, get clean water. With that clean water, those kids will be able to stay healthy and go to school so that they can build a better life for themselves and their families.
