David Christof: Running Self-supported from Prague to London
1200km/750miles in 5 weeks to the 2012 summer Olympic Games

How and When

David leaves June 18 from the German School Prague and will arrive in London on July 22.Pushing a stroller with all of his essentials, he will run the distance of a marathon (42.195km or 26.2miles) almost every day. Along the way, he will stay with people of good will, speak with schools and businesses, and will spread the word about the world water crisis.

Partnering for a Cause

$30 provides safe drinking water for 1 person for life. David hopes to raise enough funds to provide water for 333 people (=$9990). All donations will go directly to Blue Planet Network safe drinking water projects around the world.

• 21 marathons and 13 ultramarathons completed, including two 100mile runs
• Cycled self-supported 3800km (2375miles) through 8 European countries over 7 weeks
• Member of the 2007 Blue Planet Run around the world for safe drinking water
• Master’s of Science in College Counseling from St.Cloud State University, Minnesota, USA
• Fluent in English and Czech & trained to speak with the media
