Meet the runners, hear the message, and pass it on.

Every 16 kilometers of our 24,462 km journey, both the baton and our vital message about drinking water will be passed on. At these exchange points, the Blue Planet Run crew will be set up to answer questions, explain the water issue and encourage the public to become messangers. These exchange points are the best place to interact with the Blue Planet Run runners. Please search the list for the location nearest you.

If you want to join in the excitement or show support by running along with us, please keep in mind safety and security are our utmost concerns for this 15,200 mile journey. Frankly, we need messengers more than runners. But if you can't stand still knowing about the water issue, please try to join us in these great, safe locations free from traffic.(See right)

If You Want to Run

June 14th at 13.00 Hamburg – Alster Park
Meeting point: right after the Kennedybrucke bridge on Alsterufer
Exit: by Krugkoppel bridge
Distance available to run with the runner – 3 km. In the middle there is the exchange point at 13.30. Possibility to run more with the runner until other side of the lake (approximately 5km) if wide sidewalk is available.

June 15th at 16.30 Berlin – Tiergarten Park
Meeting point: on Strasse des 17 Juni after passing the railway bridge – where the Tiergarten Park starts on right facing the Brandeburg Gate
Exit: by Platz der Republik
Distance available to run with the runner – 3 km. Nice run on the sidewalk by the park in the earth of Berlin
