The temperature in Colorado has hit extreme highs and lows. Add to the high altitudes and windy, inclined roads, sometimes a lot of cars, and you have a challenging course, but the runners are taking it in stride as they share segments and press on to keep spreading the message.

Due to high inclines and high altitudes, Team Silver broke up much of their run into 5-mile segments. Shiri Leventhal ran the first five miles up and down joined by Elise Harrington on a bike. Despite the challenge, David Christof and Emmanuel Kibet had an amazing time running the next ten miles to the Independence Pass on the Continental Divide! David says it was so exciting he didn't notice it was more difficult to breathe the last two miles – where they reached 12,095 feet! They were joined by guest runners Morley McBride and Dylan for the final 5 miles of the ascent; at the top, Team Silver ran around and were given leis to honor their achievement from Morley and Dylan!
