After the delay at border control yesterday, the runners were ready to hit the road. We were delighted to find well-paved roads with soft grass shoulders to run on. After weeks of punishing runs on asphalt roads, the new terrain reinvigorated the runners.

So many aspects of the Run have changed since crossing into Belarus. We have new drivers and vehicles that have traveled all the way from Siberia. The cars are specially equipped to deal with rough roads and terrain as we cross Russia. And in Belarus, the runners are escorted slowly by police escorts. All the attention is unusual but makes the Run feel particularly important.

BPR's new back up runner Will Dobbie has been showing off his fresh legs, running his 10 mile segments in exactly one hour.
