Water Project Examples
All of our water and sanitation projects are managed through the Peer Water Exchange (PWX), where donors, non-governmental organizations (NGOs) and observers work together to select, manage and monitor rural water projects worldwide. Each project is community-based and must be technology appropriate and customized to the local climate, geography and culture. The community must be an integral part of each project, contributing labor and materials during construction and taking ownership of the project long-term. Post-implementation visits by NGO’s, university students and other interested parties can be uploaded onto PWX to track long-term impact and ensure any problems are addressed
The following project details are a sampling of our more than 200 sustainable water projects partnering with 68 non-governmental organizations worldwide in 22 countries.
