I'm sick of green peppers! In Russia it was too many tomatoes and cucumbers. Since we arrived back in the U.S. it's been green peppers. Not red, not yellow, not orange, green! It's not that I dislike them but in great quantity they cause heart burn and in great quantities I'm not crazy about them. But they keep showing up even when I ask for them not to be there. So I've been picking them out, like I do olives which I do dislike, immensely. And I'm wondering why green peppers? It's unusual to me. We don't use many in Vermont. We opt for more of my favorites like broccoli, snow peas and red peppers. I guess my wok and home cooking are calling me. I guess my first meal at home will have to be my favorite stir fry in my decades old perfectly seasoned wok, including tofu, fresh garlic, broccoli, scallions, mushrooms, snow peas, water chestnuts, raw peanuts or sunflower seeds and red and yellow peppers not green!

We missed our opportunity to make our fortunes. Apparently Sarnia is popular for its casino. When we left to run at 1am we chose coffee over slots. The almost full moon lit our way to London where we took the baton from Team Silver. Shiri handed off to Jason in the pitch dark, temperatures again at 57 degrees, the same as yesterday at the same time. It was an international commute as we crossed the Thames River twice and moved past various points of interest including a hunt club and a speedway. Of course we could not see any of it. Heavy fog hung over us until I ran the 4th leg. It was a beautiful run on dirt and paved country road amidst farms, more silos and corn as well as bush beans. The terrain rolled and by the time I finished before 9am it was a glorious blue sky sunny dry day. After breakfast we headed to Brampton, Ontario and our day hotel.

Laura, Shiri, Mary and I joined Taeko to assist in her choosing of a wedding dress for tomorrow. She looked gorgeous in every dress she tried on and finally settled on what was my very favorite choice for the occasion along with beautiful accessories. The wedding is tomorrow after our runs. Taeko and Jason will run together during Team Blue's shift and be married by Niagara Falls with BPR runners as their bridesmaids and groomsmen. It will be a very special day for us all. For them to seal their marriage vows by Niagara Falls one of the great wonders of the world which is globally symbolic of the power of water is a perfect setting.
