My return to Canada sends a current of emotion flowing through my channels of hope and inspiration. I am coming back to a country that with my travels has deepened it's impression on me as the best place to live in the world. Humanity is the stream that flows no matter what natural forces are at work. For it is the most powerful natural force delicately making mountains and carrying our intentions. The count down to Taeko and my wedding is now at 3 days! Our resolve to follow our hearts and wait 33 and 34 years for each other has now approached a new journey that makes me cry with such a joy of knowing she has been here with me all along. I am excited to see Niagara Falls and have such an incredible connection to water help unite our lives.
The past week of running has been mostly on the night shifts with sleep slipping by the side of the road. We experienced our letting go of running shifts in that we are saying goodbye to shifts that we will no longer be on for the end of the run is near. This also has such a tremendous effect on me for wishing I may inhale any ills or problems from the others and breath out only goodness. I am stronger because of having my team mates and the entire BPR staff in my life. I will forever be running around the world with them for an eternity.
Some of the running shifts have included another 20 mile run helping another team reduce their miles to rest more and I was luckily accompanied by Taeko on a mountain bike pacing me to a sub 2 hr 20 miler. A super easy jaunt talking to my dear Taeko who biked beside me was another run along with a dash through intense lightning storms that caused the staff to pull me off the road for a few minutes as they were thinking that I would really run like water. Taeko's team had a day off so she came and stayed with our team until her next running shift. This has helped as her and I have really missed each other with a 4 day- different hotel rotation like the one we are now on until a day after our wedding. This has made getting wedding plans and needs taken care of a test of unique time management and karma seeking. We are so happy to say that we found our wedding bands today. I bought a suit yesterday and have also confirmed an incredible amount of support from the BPR foundation staff, Ignition staff, Dill and Erin in making our day special. Ooops here comes another tear. Gulp...
Poem of the Day:
'Namaste fellow friend'
You like everyone else continously
bring a sound of peace to my journey
helping me internally reaffirm
to the I that is of that this world shines
our worldly speciality of places filled
with incredible energies igniting connections
valued for a part of every moment
in every moment
that that is you make it such
for me in being more me
an honorable experience it is
to be of this world with you
for humbled am I to be a part
of our sacred energies firing shouts
of aliveness around the world
