- Statement: "We can come together as many nations and start to collectively make all the difference.” – Jason Loutitt, 2007
We ran all the way across Europe and finished today running on main land continental Asia! My run was a 10 mile portion starting off the day for our team and it was a rough one. The legs were surprisingly well from the previous two high mileage days but the food poisioning from last night whammied this poor bugger. A slight fever, dissiness and dehydration combined with the rain to be a memoriable way to say goodbye to China. Too think I was only one day off from being one of the few who weren't affected. China does have a severe population problem that really showcases the need for proper water and waste management. Wow! What we often take for granted and what we are capable of in finding balance in our environments. Thank you China. One last night in Beijing and I am flying tommorrow to Japan!!!
Poem of the Day:
The legend goes that the Giaa contains the life energy
Brought to existence through the combination of
Fire, water, land and air in a cycle that keeps repeating
I will repeat my steps around the world and hold all the
elements together noting that so far the message of water
is being spread and only in balance with the importance
of all the elements
