Please adhere to the following directions save you be remnant and disposed of like the carcass becoming one with the sand. While putting one foot in front of the other under the dessert sun also make sure to displace the fluid loss that is leaving a sweat trail for centuries of others to follow. Other than that, the experience of sandification combined with the altitude brought new joy to using a simple tooth brush and water. It is interesting to note that Mongolia on average is one of the highest countries in the world and as many of you are aware it was once in command of much of the world. Now it is still filled with the nomadic Ger dwelling families connecting to the land. Two words... awe inspiring!

September 27, 2007... and still on the run!
When I think about all the great times and places that I visited this past summer, I am also reminded of all the great people.

In Kansas running in the 99 degree heat, I ended up getting attacked by two dogs but was able to yell at them enough to keep them at bay until our exchange point vehicle came by.

On the 9th we started our running from Zion National Park in Utah at 3 am. I was up last and ran the last shift from 7:45 - 8:55.
