- Statement: "We can come together as many nations and start to collectively make all the difference.” – Jason Loutitt, 2007
In waiting at a runner exchange point where I was set to begin my 10 mile jaunt, a dog nearly got hit by a car right in front of us. As cars swerved and the dog finally hurried off into the grass on the other side, I watched with concern filling my entire spirit as it moved onto the busy road. I was sure that this is the closest to death that this dog has faced in its entire life. Or am I? Perhaps this dog defies life and does some sort of sacred dance across the road to perchance wrestle with the cycles of life that affect all of us. Not sure but I am sure that if one small speck of my wish and hope to save that dog, to have the cars swerve out of the way or to have the dog escape doom was a factor in its survival then I thank you world for listening to my call for help, my scream for life and my desire to see a spark not be extinguished. As a messenger this dog, just like all of us on earth, is affected by subtleties and energies unknown, sacred and connected.
Poem of the Day:
My soul will ask very deeply for you to survive
For you have harmed me the most
The power to wish you well will be a gamble
I will lay my life on the line to achieve
An ability to flourish hope deserving no direction
I pray for you to achieve and project into life
A desire to be a good person despite differences
For you have harmed me the most

24 Miles of altitude above 8000', mountains, fresh air, an incredible team and a run to my training grounds for the last two summers combined to make it one of the best 2007 Blue Planet Run days for m

Water is sacred

An essence makes life

Any form of life
Is a justification of a celebration
