The city of Prague, Czech Republic has been filled
With a pervading sense of love
For joy has been brought to this heart of mine
A gentle laughing similar soul has placed her
Beautiful architecture, bridges, sculptures and history In the eternal landscape painting of my spirit
A part of me is at peace in looking into
Her sunset eyes and much of me remains In the fountain moving to the music of my life
For although the path of the water is known based on experience
The future holds opportunities only within the open mind
That allows an open perspective to allow the unexpected,
The impossible, the beautiful and the very dream
We never ever expect to have unfold for our souls.
September 27, 2007... and still on the run!
When I think about all the great times and places that I visited this past summer, I am also reminded of all the great people.
September 2 - Flying team colours!
With the last few days of our run looming and the month changing, emotions are swelling like I mentioned in my previous blog.
August 25 - 'Our home and Native land...'
My return to Canada sends a current of emotion flowing through my channels of hope and inspiration.
August 17 - The Wedding
In Kansas running in the 99 degree heat, I ended up getting attacked by two dogs but was able to yell at them enough to keep them at bay until our exchange point vehicle came by.
August 13 - From Camp Hale to Vail
24 Miles of altitude above 8000', mountains, fresh air, an incredible team and a run to my training grounds for the last two summers combined to make it one of the best 2007 Blue Planet Run days for m
August 10th - 'In the company of our elders and our future generations!'
On the 9th we started our running from Zion National Park in Utah at 3 am. I was up last and ran the last shift from 7:45 - 8:55.
August 8 -'Cali through Death Valley to the Red Sandstone Cliffs'
Poem of the day:
Water is sacred
Simple and powerful
An essence makes life
And is life itself.
Any form of life
Is a justification of a celebration
August 2 – BPR Fremont through San Jose ending at San Simeon
The California sun is screaming hello even though the temperatures are staying cool. I love it!
August 1st - The Blue Planet Run in Japan.
'The vending machines on the top of Mount Fuji.'
