With our day 13 run actually occurring in the morning of the 14th, this was the Stade Dow plant celebration and I forgot to mention on the last post that there was a fellow Canadian in the crowd very proudly waving the Canadian Flag. During the stage presentation, I mentioned how the act of running touches everyone in their hearts as it is both a traditional activity and a natural inclination to all. My challenge to you is to return to those days and do what I have been doing lately... take off the shoes and walk around for a bit on the natural ground. If it has just rained and the grass field is close by do a little bit of running and you will feel that return... you will feel that connection.
Poem of the Day
If together we could wave our hands
and touch every leaf we go by
The trees would have another story
to add to the centuries of insight and glory
Our journey has been slow
for if you watch us we do not seem to grow but if you were to hold on to a branch off of the ground would become your home
By trusting in our path, by understanding our need you will forever close your eyes and eternally be free Each of us becomes the leaf and the water supplying it life Each of us will wave our hands with centuries of insight
September 27, 2007... and still on the run!

Water is sacred

An essence makes life

Any form of life
Is a justification of a celebration
