On our way to Berlin. Bad news/good news in Bremen. One of the vans was broken into, but we had a lovely breakfast and room, and did all our laundry. No time for sightseeing as we were off by 11:30 pm to cover the 1:30 to 3am shift for the yellow team.
Two amazing exchanges, the first at the Dow plant in Staade. Heiko from Germany passed off to me after running in with about 100 Dow employees and kids. Then I took off towards Hamburg at 7:30 to run until 9am. Was going to dedicate this one to Mom but I'll save that for tomorrow. My run was cut short by construction. Simon picked up on the other end and ran into an exchange point in Horneburg where about 100 kids and their teachers formed an alleyway on the sidewalk. They then did the exchange ceremony on a nearby lawn as the sun came out brightly for the first time in many, many days.
Looking forward to a real dinner in Berlin and going to sleep at a regular bedtime hour.

Life goes on.....sort of. I’m a different person. I’m struggling with the issue of how to make a living and still keep active in the cause. Water issues surround me.
