Just finished my second night run. This one in England through the village of Woodstock into Oxford, including the university area where I'd walked around earlier to the exchange point in the center. Had a magical run as many of the miles were on good bike path surrounded by high grasses. I started a bit cranky since I'd finally sent my laundry out and it came back clean but wet. I'd been experiencing a rash from the uniforms and was looking forward to having them all freshly washed. From now on I'll do my own, one at a time.

We are all having good runs today and heading to France as soon as we finish. We'll miss the London event but many more to come. This is the hardest but best "job" I've ever had. When it gets tough on the run, I just think of the cause and start to coast.

The Italians are taking great care of us. We are drinking lots of coffee and talking to lots of locals. I hollered to a crew coming out of a pub tonight that I was running around the world. "No way" was the response and I yelled "it's true." A young woman asked why and I told her. They all started cheering.

>It's been cool and windy and now there is a misty rain. Sleep, when it comes, will be sweet.
