The Network is designed to:

Collaboration between funders, implementers and monitors

Give Water Groups around the world a way to:
• collaborate and manage sustainable, cost-effective water solutions
• manage their projects and donor communications more efficiently
• amass a global, transparent clearinghouse of water project data

Offer Funders a single source to:
• cost-effectively and pro-actively fund high quality water and sanitation projects that have been "pre-approved" by PWX peer review
• handle all project management issues
• see the tangible impact of their support and ensure accountability

Enable Companies to maximize brand approval and loyalty and give back to the global community through:
• support of a worldwide network that delivers measurable results project after project on an issue fundamental to human life;
• connecting their customers to stories of real people and the chance to help transform their lives by enabling access to safe drinking water for only $30 a person
• a partnership that can scale and add value to all of their customer relationships

Engage the general Public as part of “Team Blue” to:
• learn the facts of the global safe drinking water and raise awareness among their family, friends and colleagues
• Raise funds for water and sanitation projects by pursuing their passions; and
• See the impact of their efforts through water project data, photos and stories

Creates a centralized platform for Monitors to:
• report on any projects easily as agencies, NGOs and the public
• avoid layers of bureaucracy

Empower Local Communities without safe drinking water to:
• be an integral part in the planning and implementation of any BPN network member;
• take control of the ongoing management of their water projects and be responsible for their own community development; and
• be party to high-potential projects that have been peer-reviewed to produce more effective results.

Utilize the Peer Water Exchange as its hub for:
• transparent participatory decision-making process for funding projects
• minimal overhead during project review, selection, and evaluation
• sharing and learning between organizations
