Robert Lerner comes to Blue Planet Network with over twenty-five years of business and financial management experience at technology companies in Silicon Valley, including several $1B+ public software companies as well as several venture funded pre and post-revenue startups. Robert is currently the VP Finance of Aerohive Networks, Sunnyvale CA, the leader in controller-less Wi-Fi and cloud-enabled enterprise networking, where he drives the finances and operations and spearheads the creation of business plans, financial models and investor presentations.

Prior to Blue Planet Network, Robert held the position of Vice President of Finance with Fortinet, Inc., and was a member of the team that helped take the company public in November, 2009. In addition, Robert has been a senior member on the finance teams of various technology related companies, including Sybase, Siebel Systems, Excite@Home and Cypress Semiconductor.

Robert holds an MBA in Finance from Georgia State University. He is on the Membership Committee of Financial Executives International, Silicon Valley Chapter, and is a member of the Board of Directors for Keypoint Credit Union and Amigos de Las Americas, Peninsula Chapter.
