Lia is currently serving as Blue Planet Network’s Partnership Manager and brings a passion for helping people and a love for finding creative solutions. She began working in water and sanitation as a student at UC Berkeley where she led her own projects with indigenous communities in Ecuador. Using the lessons she learned, she continued as the Lead on Water and Sanitation for the Clinton Global Initiative and was responsible for coordinating a set of 15 commitments on 5 continents worth $160 million. Lia is excited to return to the sector and work to help create a safe space through the Blue Planet Network’s platform for stakeholders to share lessons learned and work together to increase sustainable impact.
Lia holds a B.A. in Public Health and Conservation and Resource Studies from the University of California, Berkeley. Lia enjoys connecting with people, spending time with her friends, family, and community, and having fun in the outdoors.
